Privacy Policy — LiteDS

LiteDS ("the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app collects and how it is used.

1. Information We Collect

The app itself does not collect or transmit any personal information to external servers.

The Play Store version of the app includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display banner ads. AdMob may collect the following to serve ads:

• Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID)
• Device information (model, OS version, etc.)
• IP address and approximate location
• App usage data (ad impressions and clicks)

The open-source build distributed via GitHub Releases (the gitHubProd flavor) does not include AdMob and does not collect any of the above data.

2. Data Stored on Device

The app stores the following locally on your device only — never transmitted externally:

• ROM file search directory URIs (Storage Access Framework grants)
• App preferences and settings
• Game save states and save files

3. Permissions Used

• INTERNET: Used by AdMob for ad serving (Play Store flavor only)
• VIBRATE: Haptic feedback for on-screen controls
• CAMERA: Optional, for DSi camera emulation
• RECORD_AUDIO: Optional, for in-game microphone input
• com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: AdMob advertising ID access (Play Store flavor only)

These permissions are used solely to provide the app's functionality and (for the Play Store flavor) to serve relevant ads.

4. Third-Party Sharing

The app does not share user information with any third parties other than Google AdMob (Play Store flavor only).

5. Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Changes to This Policy

Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance.
